[Link] | Bush has been re-elected and I've lost my faith in America. I thought evidence of the crappy job he's doing in Iraq, his restriction of civil liberties, his disregard of the environment, and his poor relations with other countries were all well-documented. This is really the guy that America wants to represent their country to make important decisions which can potentially affect the world? When I was at work a girl I knew was saying how she voted Bush when I asked her why she replied "I guess you're a Kerry fan. We just have a difference of opinions". First of all I'm not a "Kerry fan" I'm an America fan and Bush isn't what's best for America. Second vanilla is better than chocolate is an opinion, red is better than blue is an opinion, Bush being unfit to lead this country is not an opinion, he's shown it time and again. Go ahead and cheer for your tax cuts but keep in mind that we have a 400 billion dollar (and growing) budget deficit and someone's gonna have to foot that bill. Cheer for the failing war on terrorism as the casualty list of American soldiers grows and while amputees from Iraq are constantly arriving for treatment at Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital in DC. Cheer for Bush's banned partial abortion and his limited funding for stem cell research. Diabetes, Alzheimers who needs cures for those right?
Screw it I'm moving to Europe.

[Link] | I was trying to make plans to drive up to Jason's Woods in Pennsylvania on Saturday. Apparently no one wants to drive to Pennsylvania and no one wants to be scared on Halloween so those plans are out. There's a costume party in Towson on Friday night but I can't be bothered to find a costume. So right now it's looking all I'm doing for Halloween is going to see Saw on Friday night. What a waste of a perfectly good Halloween weekend.

[Link] | There was a party in Towson Friday night. Going into the party, I had promised I'd take it easy since I had to work the next morning but when I caught site of the keg I lost control of myself. I spent the better part of Saturday morning recuperating from that one.
I should probably be working on my Economics paper but I just can't bring myself to get started on it I know I'm probably going end up working on it. I know I'm probably going to end up working on it at the last minute but I've got procrastination down to an art now anyway. I predict a lot of sleep being lost over this paper.

[Link] | All my speeding tickets are finally paid off and I'd just like to take this moment to proudly extend my middle finger in salute of all the fine officers of Howard County.

[Link] | I just watched that new show LAX. It was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. Seriously, who would've thought a show about running an airport would actually turn out alright? Although I'm sure the novelty of that will wear off soon. How many times can an airplane system malfunction, someone attempt to smuggle something, or can there be a terrorist related incident to create some kind of tension on the show? I also watched Las Vegas which was good simply because the show was in Las Vegas. I've got to go back there someday.
Anyway I don't want to turn into some kind of TV freak or something so I think that's all the TV I'm going to allow myself for today well after the news that is.

[Link] | On Oct. 8 The Beastie Boys are playing at Fairfax, VA with Talib Kwelli. The Faint will be at the 9:30 Club on Oct. 17th and De La Soul will be there on the 23rd. I've got to go to at least one of these concerts but I'd give up a kidney and a lung to see the Beastie Boys and since Oct. 8 is on a Friday it'd be pretty convenient for me. Now I just need to find the money for all these concerts.

[Link] | I feel like I'm dying of boredom. I've been playing the "serious academic" role for a month now and need to let loose a little. I need a party to go to or something.
In other news, I still haven't gotten my voters registration card in the mail that I signed up for 3 months ago. I need that card so I can "Rock my Vote" come November. Drew Barrymore believes my voice needs to be heard in the coming election and she would never lie to me.

[Link] | Yea, so I had a blast in Vegas and managed to only lose 5 dollars. I lost 3 of them on slot machines and the other two tipping a bellhop that I told at least 5 times that I could carry my own bags. I'm definitely going to return to Vegas one day in the future when I have enough money to properly experience it. Because, make no mistake about it, it definitely costs money to properly experience Vegas. Now that I'm back I just can't seem to let go of summer and get back into the swing of things. I'm going to procrastinate on this just one more day then maybe I'll start getting serious...

[Link] | I suppose I bring this on myself. I just found out that a gym that I've been going to took it upon themselves to "auto-renew" my account. So, I've ended up assisting them get at least $150 richer and I can't get any of that money back. I suppose on the bright side one speeding ticket is paid for and my vacation is in two weeks although, I don't know how I'll pay for anything on my vacation with the way things are going.
Oh well Que sera sera, C'est la vie, and all that.

I guess I haven't updated in a while so here's the score. I owe money for 2 speeding tickets, school, and a vacation I'm taking in August and I have no idea how I'm going to pay for all that since I'm kinda in between jobs. Yeah, life is sweet.

[Link] | I met up with a few friends and went to downtown last night. I can't describe why but it was the most fun I've had all summer. Maybe it's because there was alcohol involved. Anyway we went to a bar, got a little tipsy, and walked around downtown performing random acts of craziness. Good times.

Why Do I Bother?
I've learned an important lesson today: You can please some of the people some of the time but can't please all the the people all the time. Trying just makes you look like an inconsiderate asshole the people you can't full accomodate.
